The underscore to this record beyond the music and the muse was a commonality of involvement with diabetes. Early on in the sessions I was drawn in thought reflecting on the shock when my daughter Callie had to be rushed to the hospital for what was the beginning of our journey with her in learning to manage her diabetes care. This title was many of those early feels, being, acceptance and change. It also has a profound raga influence that I think both Peter and I are drawn to in this music.
